The workshop in Zurich will take place in the week 48. Here is the plan:
28. november (monday) arrival in Zürich (welcome drink late in the afternoon)
29, 30. november and 1.of december (tuesday, wednesday and thursday) workshop (with several assignments) having Lascaux factory as a base.
2.december, art galleries/museums visit and tapas dinner later.
The students have to arrange their own flight to Zürich and place to stay (hotel/airbnb, etc).

Lunch in the city, near the Museum Haus Konstruktiv.
Visit Museum Haus Konstruktiv: the leading institution for constructivist-concrete, and conceptual art in Switzerland, and is highly regarded internationally. Meet Laura Flück, who organizes a day of colour for school kids – an event which is held in cocoperation with Lascaux – and visit the ateliers in the Museum with her.
Stroll through the city toward the Limmat and view the famous “Haus zum Tor”, at Storchengasse 13 with a facade painted with Lascaux colours 50 years ago.
Visit the near Fraumünster Church with the famous Chagall stained windows.
09.00 – 12.00
Workshop with Machteld Aardse
Lunch in the café of the Rietberg Museum. Visit Rietberg Museum: a museum, displaying Asian, African, American and Oceanian art. It is the only art museum focusing on non-European art and design in Switzerland, the third-largest museum in Zürich. Surrounded by a beautiful park with majestic old trees.
Visit also the nearby Bonsai-Garten und Orangerie: Idyllic bonsai garden with orangery next to Rieter Park, Japanese garden.
On the way back to the city stop for a drink or happy hour at the Hyatt Park and enjoy the large Wall Painting of Sol LeWitt which is permanently installed there in the lobby as well as some other nice paintings

Visit of the guardian angel of Niki de Saint Phalle at the main concourse at Zurich Main Station.
Museums Visit:
The Kunsthaus Zürich boasts Zurich’s largest collection of modern art and is renowned both for its permanent art collection and its temporary exhibitions. In addition to works by Alberto Giacometti there are also significant pictures by Picasso, Monet and Chagall as well as numerous contemporary Swiss artists.
The spectacular extension by David Chipperfield Architects will make the Kunsthaus Zürich the largest art museum in Switzerland.
Kunsthaus Zürich: The retrospective of ca. 100 works showcases the exceptional oeuvre of Niki de Saint Phalle, including early assemblages, action art and graphic works, the Nanas, the Tarot Garden and large, late sculptures.
Relax in the nearby Rechberg park, Zürich most beautiful Barok garden. The barock Villa, recently recently renovated by famous Swiss architect Tilla Teus.
Visiting several galleries in Zurich as per suggestion of Lascaux according to what will be on display at the time.
